Algolia issue on Wordpress

Greetings fellas,

I’ve installed Algolia on my Wordpress website, and set up my API keys and all. However, when I click on the index button, an error quickly pops up with the following message:

"an error occured: <div class="notion-wrapper>

basically a lot of HTML. I have neither clue regarding the inner mechanisms of Algolia, nor have the time to figure it out, but I really like the search engine.

I’ve added a screenshot in order to increase the understanding. What is really happening?

Any help is much appreciated.

Sincerely,
Pouya Ataei.

Hi Pouya,

I’m sorry to hear you have an issue.

Let’s find together where it came from.

  1. Did you follow these steps: https://www.algolia.com/doc/integration/wordpress/getting-started/quick-start/
( Don’t hesitate to let me know if there are any steps you had trouble with )

  2. Can you show me snippets of code in order to find a potential bug?

Don’t hesitate to ask any other questions.

Dear Tom,

I’ve just installed the plugin on Wordpress and tried to run the algolia indexing engine, and the result was as above. If you checkout the screenshot, it is giving me an error without any clear description, so I don’t know where to go from there… I"m using Woocommerce, WP rocket, Imagify, and Yoast.

Sincerely,
Pouya Ataei.

We seem to have started seeing this too on Re-index.
