Are conversion events required to train Recommendation API's model?

My use case requires only clicks for now, is it really applicable to use Recommend API without triggering conversion events?

It depends on which model you’re training. For Frequently Bought Together, we need conversion events with at least two objects (literally, two or more objects bought together).

But for related products, click events may be enough if they reflect correlation between clicked objectIDs during a single query.
