Building a knowledge base with Algolia

Call me mad, I’m sure I saw something in the Algolia dashboard months ago about a product coming soon that could handle question based queries?

@chuck.meyer do you know about it? I’m drawing a blank! :slight_smile:

We did offer a product called Algolia Answers for natural language processing, but we weren’t happy with the results and discontinued it.

We are looking to build new NLP/Semantic offerings based around our recent acquisition of and their Neuralsearch technology. Those should be coming out early next year.

It is a little weird it disappeared without a trace. We’ve been discussing standardized deprecation strategies with our Docs team to see if we can be more transparent.
