Error: Operations quota exceeded. Change plan to get more Operations.

Hello Algolia,

I am currently setting up Algolia on the website (built with Gatsby, Netlify) using the free trial version with Gatsby JS. Netlify building fails with the error message Error: Operations quota exceeded. Change plan to get more Operations. when I have ~100 records (the limit of free plan is 10,000 records).

Could please help to figure out what the problem is?

Hi Vannnyle,

Algolia “units” actually have two dimensions – number of records and number of requests per month. My guess is you exceeded 10k requests for the app, but I’d have to see your App ID to confirm.

If this is the case and you’re still in development mode – you should be able to create a new App ID to get back up and running.
