Heroku Addon with Node.js

I am trying to set up several Algolia indices that will be synched with a PostgreSQL app. The app is hosted on Heroku, so I was hoping to use the Algolia addon to keep the indices up to date with database changes.

However, the documentation for the addon looks tailored towards a Rails app Algolia Realtime Search | Heroku Dev Center, while my app is built on top of Node.js, using Sequelize as an ORM.

Can the Aloglia addon be used in a Node.js app, and if so, are there any examples of documentation of this?

Hello @conciergeauctions,

We also provide a JavaScript client which can be used into a Node.js app, I’ll let you read the documentation here: The JavaScript API client | Algolia
