Is it possible to use synonyms in filters?

Let’s say I have four records.

 [
  {
    "name": "Test product 1",
    "ingredients": [
      "Coco"
    ]
  },
  {
    "name": "Test product 2",
    "ingredients": [
      "Cocoa"
    ]
  },
  {
    "name": "Test product 3",
    "ingredients": [
      "Cacao"
    ]
  },
  {
    "name": "Test product 4",
    "ingredients": [
      "Butter"
    ]
  }
]

And I have this synonym defined

Coco <=> Cocoa <=> Cacao

And I use this filter

{
  "filters": "NOT ingredients:'Coco'"
}

I would like to get back just this

[
  {
    "name": "Test product 4",
    "ingredients": [
      "Butter"
    ]
  }
]

But instead I get this

[
  {
    "name": "Test product 2",
    "ingredients": [
      "Cocoa"
    ]
  },
  {
    "name": "Test product 3",
    "ingredients": [
      "Cacao"
    ]
  },
  {
    "name": "Test product 4",
    "ingredients": [
      "Butter"
    ]
  }
]

Is there any way I can achieve this?

Thank you for contacting us. Synonyms only work with textual search hence will not work with filters. What you could do, is change the filter to include all the synonyms:

"filters": "NOT ingredients:'Coco' AND NOT ingredients:'Cacao' AND NOT ingredients:'Cocoa'"
