Issues with Avada Theme and the Algolia search results page

Hello Algolites,

I am having a small issue with implimenting Algolia on Wordpress with the Avada theme.

Essentially it works perfectly well except that the search results page does not show all my icons correctly.

If you go to my https://www.optimisedweb.de/cooking-school/ you will see a black navigation menu at the top of the screen which shows links to the Magazine, Customer Service, My Account and Cart pages.

When you do a search and land on the results page. You can see that the Cart icon and the drop down arrows are now broken.

If anyone has any tips on how I can fix this it would be great.

Cheers,

Peter

Hey @peter,

Other users faced some issues with that theme in the past.
Maybe you’ll find some answers here https://discourse.algolia.com/search?q=avada

Keep us posted,

Thanks Ray,

Unfortunately no answers there for me.

I noticed that there is a Woocommerce beta, maybe if I try that out it might fix my issue?

I managed to resolve this issue by adding the following code to my .htaccess file.

<IfModule mod_headers.c>
  <FilesMatch "\.(ttf|ttc|otf|eot|woff|woff2|font.css|css|js)$">
    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
  </FilesMatch>
</IfModule>
