Prepopulate instant search with results from a previous geolocation query

I have a search feature on my application whereby a user can type a city and perform a search based on results from that city (lat, long)

I would like to then pass these results from the algolia geolocation search to the instant search front end component so I can filter it further.

I know you can do something like the below

        <ais-index
                app-id="{{ config('scout.algolia.id') }}"
                api-key="{{ config('scout.algolia.secret') }}"
                index-name="results"
                query="{{ request('query') }}"
        >

Where the search is pre populated by the query in the request, but instead of this I want a collection of results (a json object) so the results are already there. I would like to know if this is possible.
