Ruby on Rails - skipping touch method on associations for reindexing

I’m implementing a search with Algolia in Rails.
The example below show how to index a record when an associated record gets updated.

In the after_save callback, it touches all the associated records and in turn, those associated records get indexed by after_touch :index!

I don’t want to touch the associated records as I don’t want the updated_at value to be changed. So can I use the below instead?

after_save { apps.each(&:index!) }

Yes, absolutely! As long as Application has include AlgoliaSearch, that will work.
