I have an interesting situation and I’m not sure where to look for a solution, so I thought I would ask here.
My client’s store has over 50k products, and they are updated daily via an app. What is also added with this app to each product variant is a simple metafield which states how quickly it can be shipped. This metafield is availability.type.(value)
However, the product (NOT the variant) has a metafield that is availability.type.available.
Our manufacturer doesn’t have an availability type of ‘available’ and this should not display on our storefront, but it is currently. Screen shot: http://nimb.ws/pzBcl8
Bulk deleting these metafields doesn’t seem like an option due to time-consumption. I also have not found a method online for doing this in bulk.
I have two ideas on a solution for this, but I don’t know if it’s possible within Algolia. Here are my two ideas …
configure the app to use only product variant metafields for the facet instead of the product metafields.
simply erase this option from the facet group for customers.
Are either of these possible?
