Sort Instant Search results in tables

Hi everyone,

I am having, I assume, a very simple question, but considering I am really new to Algolia still, it all feels a little overwhelming.

I am facing a scenario where I would like to utilize Algolia to sort and show data in my dashboard utilizing simple tables like:

In order to sort the columns in ascending and descending order, should I create replicas for the index and then add a custom ranking attribute in the Ranking Formula section?

It works perfectly as I have it set up, but I am wondering whether this is how I should use it or if there are other ways without creating replicas?

Thanks so much for any help!

Chris

Hi Chris,

That’s the way to go to have custom sorting. You did everything perfectly

Best,
