Splitting doesnt seem to always work

I have created an index and added a search that seems to be split correctly in the in query alternatives but search results aren’t being returned. For example, when I search for “Mountainbike” my search successfully splits to “mountain bike” however I don’t receive results for “bike”. Any ideas?

That should work, depending on your search configuration.

Can you give me the complete record you’re trying to match? Any chance the record is using “bicycle” instead of “bike”?

Thanks for getting back to me. We are actually searching in Dutch which is slightly different but you can see in the screenshots that its actually splitting the words but no results. Even though when I split the word manually it works!
