What event triggers the POST call to Algolia to perform a new search based on what the user types into the algolia search box?
This is my use-case…
I’m building an email feature where instant search looks up the recipients. I want the user to be able to select multiple recipients and I didn’t see a widget that could do this out-of-the-box so I’m writing a custom search box.
When the user types into my custom search box, this populates a hidden algolia search box on the page. Grand. That’s working. However, populating the algolia search box from the value of another input, doesn’t trigger algolia to re-run a search.
What trigger can I add to the page to cause algolia to re-run?
