Woocommerce plugin: index SKU

I have just installed the plugin on 4 additionnal websites, same credentials but different index name prefix.
Could you fix the exact match SKU setting for those additionnal websites, please?

Hi @christian,

You should have received the latest 0.5.1 version of the plugin in your inbox by now.
That version disables typo tolerance on skus by default.

You can upgrade to that version and re-index your different websites.

Let me know how that goes!

I have just installed it on my 5 stores. It works great!

One detail: when I enter a SKU and then hit enter, I still go to the search page, I do not go directly to the product page. We talked about that, is it something you consider implementing?

Sorry to butt in here, but reading through your thread and my version of the plugin for WooCommerce looks different. We are using Version 1.6.0 and we are trying to search on a custom product attribute (see our post here - https://discourse.algolia.com/t/woocommerce-attribute-being-indexed-but-showing-no-results/119).

We'd also like to be able to search on SKU but don't see it as an option under Indexing in WordPress.

Regarding the SKU option, there is none. We automatically index the SKUs and make them searchable without typo tolerance support by default.

Hi @rayrutjes I've looked through the docs and repo but can't seem to get the product SKUs indexed. Are there specific settings in the plugin that need to be enabled?

Running Wordpress 4.7.2 / Woocommerce 2.6.14 / Storefront 2.1.7 / Algolia Search 1.7.0

SKU's are indexed by default with the new Algolia plugin for WooCommerce that is currently in private Beta.

Are you using that plugin, or would you like to try it out?

I would love to have this plugin sent to me as well. Tried to follow it on GitHub, but looks like it is a private repo. Trying to get SKU's searched with the regular Algolia plugin for Wordpress with no luck.

For now the Beta testing is unfortunately closed.
In this issue though I shared a snippet that will help you index WooCommerce related attributes.

I just installed the latest version form worpress, and it does not search sku, It should be something important to be able to search by sku.

Yes the WooCommerce plugin allows you to search into SKUs.
